  1. Hi Rob, Thank you for the great online presentations you provide for Delphi community.

I have a question regarding the availability of and your online conferences worldwide; are or your online conferences forcing restrictions on visitors from certain countries? As I have noticed, your website does not load for me if I try to open it using an IP address within Iranian IP range, but it opens fine if I use a proxy server with a random IP address.

    Best Regards.

  2. No restrictions just really poor performance on a plug in. I think I figured out which one was causing WordPress to die. If I can’t improve the performance of the site I will switch to another hosting company. I am on vacation right now so don’t want to do it until I return.

  3. Hi Rob,

Now that you confirmed no restriction from your side, then it means your hosting company is restricting access to their servers from certain countries, and this is probably imposed on all websites on their servers.

Such behavior is pathetic. I saw data centers refusing to host some websites belonging to some countries, but now a new trend is emerging which some American data centers block users from certain countries visiting websites hosted by them! And I guess many of the website owners themselves are not even aware of this.

Anyways, thanks for the clarification, and have a good vacation.

    Best Regards
